... Otherwise known as the commish that hates me. Finally by brain has come up with an appropriate pose for Renji ... a year later o_O; Thank goodness the buyer has been sooo amazingly patient.
This is also the very first background I've finished before I've started shading the characters. That rooftop was a killer. Thank goodness the walls aren't made of brick or anything. o_O'
I'll post the finished piece when it's done.
Edit : Oh yeah, and the reason Byakuya's sword isn't finished ... I stopped watching Bleach after Byakuya's initial appearance, so I didn't realize his sword actually changes into those pink swords. I initially was going to give him a sword and that pink energy wave (does it have a name >_>'?). So now I'm giving him half a sword changing into that pink energy wave. It's going to be tricky to CG.
Heheh. I did better this time! Only ten layers right now because I flattened most everything. I kept the file huge though (about 5000 by 5000px), which is why I'm flattening everything. I'm trying to prevent my computer from crashing XD

Yeah, Way less than 150. But only because I made a gigantic effort to limit my layers. Eventually I forgot though, and in my finished piece, I probably ended up with 150 layers again XD The reason why it gets more difficult to flatten everything is because I use a lot of layer effects (multiply and so on). So when I flatten the layers, it can mess things up. So I tend to have more and more layers by the end, and when I'm finished, I flatten things.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
